Abdulrahman Amin and Ali Musbah demonstrated greatest harmony and golfing ability to win the National Hotels Services Company Greensomes competition at Awali Golf Club last Friday.
In a format where the two players are drawn out of a hat just before commencement of play, the duo emerged winners with 41 points.
Snapping at their heels was the pairing of Essa Al Qutami and Joan Martin, runners-up with 40 points. In third place were Simon Brown and Anil Nair with 39 points, while Blake Budge and Derek Hutchinson came fourth with 38 points.
Having started in the 1995/96 season, prizes for this 20th outing of the competition were presented by NHSC’s sales executive Suraj Gopinath.
