Sam Jong Kim and playing partner Rajinder Sachdeva won the opening match of the new BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club (RGC) with a nett score of 34.3.
The duo of Alan Vandewater and Andrew Wyman were runners-up with a score of 36.4 nett while Nils and Dagfrid Berge clinched third place with 37.4 nett. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Graeme Newport and Ali Saleh respectively.
More than 25 golfers competed in the Greensomes competition, the first of a six-week series. A prize presentation ceremony was held in the Members’ Lounge.
The BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series takes place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday. The 9-hole competitions are open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start. To register, email golfevents@theroyalgolfclub.com
