Haitham Haji comfortably won the inaugural competition of the FootJoy Monday Stableford Series at the Royal Golf Club with a score of 34 points. Sam Hobday was runner-up with 31 points and Dagfrid Berge came a close third with 30 points. The win puts Haji at the top of the series leaderboard.
The FootJoy Monday Stableford will take place on the Royal Golf Club’s Montgomerie championship course every Monday morning (last tee time at 12.30pm) throughout the year and will see members and their guests battling it out against the club’s PGA professionals. The quarterly winners will each receive a pair of FootJoy golf shoes, the number one shoe in golf, as their prize.
