Husband and wife Nils and Dagfrid Berge were crowned Royal Golf Club Mixed Open Champions 2015 after achieving a nett score of 68.4.
Robert Timmers and wife, Anne, were runners-up with a score of 71.2 nett. Yousif Majid won the nearest the pin side contest on the 7th hole.
More than 30 competitors turned out for the annual tournament which was played in the two-player mixed greensomes medal format.
“Congratulations to Nils and Dagfrid on their convincing win,” said Sohail Singh, the Royal Golf Club’s tournament co-ordinator. “The Mixed Open is a great tournament that brings together both sexes and is played in a format which isn’t really used too often.”
Results: 1st Nils & Dagfrid Berge (68.4 nett), 2nd Robert & Anne Timmers (71.2).
Nearest the pin: Yousif Majid (7th hole).
