The more you play golf, the more you realise that there are a multitude of different lies to be found around the green, from slopes of different angles, thick rough and tight lies.
Tour players spend the majority of their practice time on short shots and test themselves from different positions, so that they are fully prepared for any situation that may arise.
Next time you’re practicing, place a few balls in different spots around the green and have fun discovering which clubs and what technique suits best for each position.
