Serwin Rampersad and his playing partner Mohamed Diab won week three of the six-week Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 28.
Last week’s runners-up, Yusuf Janahi and Ali Al Kowari, repeated the feat this week with a score of 29 nett, while the duo of Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed and Ali Al Hakam clinched third place on countback with a nett score of 30.
In an unusual battle for fourth place, two pairs of golfers scored the same on every hole, both gross and nett scores. With no way to separate them, the points were split equally between the two pairs of Taimur Malik & Ali Babtain and Rob Lane & Nils Berge.
Rampersad won an additional prize for coming nearest to the pin on hole 12, while runner-up Al Kowari was closest to the pin on hole 16.
More than 45 players took part in the Shambles format tournament played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the Montgomerie championship course.
The club’s tournament coordinator Sohail Singh presented the prizes.
