The team of husband and wife Dustin and Dana Whitely, paired with Phil and Julie Dixon, enjoyed a comfortable win in the Royal Golf Club’s annual F1 Scramble golf tournament with a nett score of 55.4.
The trio of Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa, Sebastian Woodrow and Ronan Smith were runners-up with 60.5 nett while the team of Todd Gillespie, Gordon Bennie, Ronan Armstrong and Sam Hobday took third place with 61.4 nett.
More than 50 competitors, both local residents and those visiting Bahrain for the 2017 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, took part in the popular annual Texas Scramble tournament which featured checkered pin flags in honour of race weekend and some matching outfits.
