Steve Diaper claimed the first prize in the Magic Island Stableford competition held at Awali Golf Club last Friday. It was a day of high scores where many of the 80 competitors carded above average points and earned handicap cuts into the bargain.
Steve’s superb round of golf, where he parred 9 holes, resulted in an amazing 45 points. The following two players carded an identical score of 43 points, however, Bronson John bagged the runners-up position over Nasser Al Kaabi after countback.
The competition was sponsored by Magic Island/Seef Properties, with prizes presented by representative Jassim Habib.
