Bob Parsons, pictured above, the founder of Godaddy.com brings the newest club manufacturer to the market, PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf).

After realising he was spending a ‘four-tune’ on golf equipment every year to try out the newest and most creative technology, he decided to launch his company.

The idea behind it was to build an iron that goes stronger than any other club on the market and feel better than anything he has hit in his life.

It was an intimidating task, but there was one saving grace - Parsons didn’t put any limits on what the clubs could cost to design or build.

Most club designs start with the price and work backward from there. Parsons was willing to pay, handsomely, for performance. Adding: “Whatever makes sense, that’s what we’ll do!”

With a thinner face than other irons on the market, they add club head speed, but also moving the weight to the perimeter gives forgiveness, as well as bringing the centre of gravity to the back of the club to help launch angle.

We have a PXG fitting day on Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm, come along and try for yourself!
