Companies across the tourism sector in the kingdom have been celebrating success at the glittering 24th Annual World Travel Awards Middle East Gala Ceremony 2017 staged in Dubai.
Dadabhai Travel was announced as the winner of the highly prestigious and much sought after title of Bahrain’s Leading Travel Agency 2017.
The World Travel Awards, which were established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.
Aziz Gilitwala, Dadabhai Travel’s managing director proudly accepted the accolade at The Armani Hotel, Dubai in front of a packed audience of influential figures in and around the hospitality sector – international and regional government and industry leaders, luminaries and print and broadcast media.

Dadabhai Travel picked up the prize after a poll of travel professionals and consumers, who cast their votes between five short-listed local agencies over a two-month period.
The World Travel Awards Middle East Gala Ceremony was part of a series of regional gala ceremonies staged to recognise and celebrate individual and collective success within each key geographical regions.
Other awards when to ART Rotana Amwaj Islands for ‘Bahrain’s Leading Hotel’, The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay received the accolade for having ‘Bahrain’s Leading Hotel Suite’, Fraser Suites picked up ‘Bahrain’s Leading Serviced Apartments’ prize, Sixt took ‘Bahrain’s Leading Car Rental Company’ and the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel was acknowledged as ‘Bahrain’s Leading Business Hotel’ for the fifth consecutive year. The award was presented to Cristalyn Pastrana, director of marketing, for Sheraton Bahrain Hotel.
