As Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) welcomes the month of Ramadan, the home of motorsport in the Middle East will be opening its Kart Zone doors to all racing fanatics daily for the next two weeks, from 9pm through to 1am.

Sporting a new face lift, fans can enjoy added excitement and enjoy the thrills of the karting circuit as it now boasts new straights, more turns and greater action for Ramadan.

Government Affairs manager at BIC Shaikh Hamad bin Isa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa added that the all-new timings would give motorsport fans the chance to enjoy racing on the track and experience the action on the karting track as interest in the sport increases.

Shaikh Hamad also added that Kart Zone has seen great development in recent weeks which will make for more excitement for racing enthusiasts, be they families, friends or even corporate clients. He also stressed that with a longer and wider track now available, adults and children will be able to race side-by-side and go head-to-head on a more exciting circuit.

Shaikh Hamad said drivers wishing to participate would need to wear suitable clothing, which includes long trousers and closed-toe shoes. He hoped that the visitors to Kart Zone would enjoy their time at the all-new track, in a very safe environment, and added that this was just one of the few surprises from BIC yet to come during the month of Ramadan.
