A job fair held by the management of the Royal Golf Club has been hailed a huge success after more than 600 job-seekers visited the club's Budaiya headquarters during the three-day event.
"We were delighted at the response to last week's fair," said Susan Stevenson, director of human resources. "We have almost 100 vacancies in our food and beverage department as well as openings in a number of other departments.
"Of the 600 plus people who attended the fair, around 30 per cent were Bahrainis and we very pleased with the high standard of all the applicants.
"I'm confident that we will fill the majority of vacancies soon as a direct result of this recruitment drive."
