French automakers Peugeot are investing in a 'cleaner and safer' future through the introduction of their break-through technologies.
As well as a new "all electric" urban vehicle, available from the end of 2010, and the rollout on production vehicles of the second-generation "Stop & Start" system in 2011, Peugeot is preparing for a future which, will combine reduced fuel consumption and emissions with renewed driving enjoyment.
HYbrid4, the innovative hybrid diesel technology, capitalises on recognised HDi engines and ensures optimal efficiency through minimal fuel consumption and 'zero emission'.
For more than a decade, Peugeot has produced more than 2.1 million HDi vehicles.
At the recent Frankfurt Motor Show, Peugeot demonstrated their and ability to combine driving enjoyment and environmental efficiency. Conceptual innovation defined the 32 production models, concept cars and demonstrators that were on display there.
