Representatives from Rolls-Royce dealerships across the region met in Doha, Qatar, this week to discuss business development and launch preparations for new model, the Ghost.

General managers and brand managers from the eight dealerships across six countries attended the conference, which was led by the director of sales and marketing for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Jolyon Nash, and Peter Schoppmann, regional director for the Middle East.

Mr Nash said, "The Middle East region has always been a significant driver of growth for Rolls-Royce. The regional dealer conference provides us with the opportunity to engage our dealers in a discussion about the future growth of the brand.

"It is very rewarding to see the investment of the dealerships into the business success of Rolls-Royce in the region, with every dealer opening a new or enlarged showroom by mid of 2010."

Zayed Al Zayani, managing director of Euro Motors, the sole Rolls-Royce dealer in Bahrain, said, "We are extremely impressed with the feedback on the Ghost which has surpassed our expectations.

"The cars fusion of elegance and simplicity has broadened Rolls-Royce's appeal in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and will attract new buyers to the brand."

The Ghost was recently unveiled, for the first time in the region, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is scheduled to make appearances across the Middle East in the next two months and first cars will be handed over to customers beginning of 2010.
