A mini-Suq will be held at the World Beat Fitness Centre & CafŽ in Janabiya from 9.30am-12.30pm. Products on sale include Ishkbibel's collection of Indian paraphernalia including hand-embroidered muslins and famed-block printed cottons, exotic home dŽcor items, an array of silver and designer jewellery. Hello Habibi will offer a range of locally-themed photographic prints, greeting cards and ceramics for adults and children. Elements, 'the Natural Oasis' will promote natural healing techniques with a range of essential oils, soaps, salt scrubs, clay masques, herbal teas and homeopathic first aid kits. Visitors can also relax at the cafŽ and treat themselves to organic coffee and whole leaf teas. Admission is free.

The CinŽ-club at the Alliance Franaise Bahrain in Isa Town will showcase French movie Les Soeurs F‰chŽes at 7.30pm. The story centres on the lives of two sisters. Admission is free. For details contact 17683295.

Friday (Dec 3)

The British School of Bahrain will host an International Family Fair today from 11am to 4pm at its school premises in Hamala. It has been organised by the Friends of BSB, a group of school parents volunteering their services for the school's benefit.

The fair will feature games, bouncy castle, food and refreshments alongside live entertainment and chances to win raffle prizes.

Among the attractions of the day are a tea room and Santa's Grotto, a DJ contest and live entertainment by the school's student body. A live pottery stall from A'ali will also provide an opportunity for everyone to try their hand at pottery making.

More than 30 stalls will be put up by different nations including Australian, Bahraini, Canadian, Egyptian, French, Hungarian, Indian, Italian, Jordanian, Lebanese, Libyan, Moldovan, Pakistani, Palestinian, Filipino, Sri Lankan, Swiss, Thai, Tunisian, Turkish and Venezuelan which will highlight various aspects of culture, art and food.

Tickets will be available for BD1 from Sunday at the school in Hamala.

Saturday (Dec 4)

The American Women's Association (AWA) will host its fundraising Cherry Tree Trot event at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. Funds raised will benefit local charities. Entry fee is BD4 for youngsters aged 10 to 17 and BD6 for 18 and above. Each participant will receive a T-shirt, a light meal and a drink as well as a raffle ticket. A walkathon will also be held. PechaKucha Bahrain is organising its third gathering at the Shaikh Ebrahim Centre in Muharraq at 6.30 pm. Young designers, artists, architects and entrepreneurs get the chance to meet, show their work and share their stories and experiences. The event is open to the public. PechaKucha Night is devised by Klein Dytharn, architecture based in Tokyo, in 2003 who envisioned a place for young designers to meet, network and showcase their work in public. It will present well-known talents Salman Zaiman and Khalid Al Muharraqi. Entry is free.

Sunday (Dec 5)

A solo exhibition entitled The Man by Jaffar Al Oraibi ends today at the Al Riwaq Art Space in Adliya. He has won numerous awards for his work including the first prize at the Qatari Diar Art Symposium and special recognition at the 32nd Annual Plastic Arts exhibit at Bahrain's National Museum.
