Eion Turnbull, from Awali Village, emerged winner of the Hertel Single Stableford competition with a score of 41 points. He was delighted with his first win and was grateful to club professional David Park for his excellent coaching.
Unfortunately, Turnbull was called away to work and was not able to receive his prize, nor was he able to sample the delicious seafood buffet sourced by Lynn St Lawrence.
There were 90 participants in the event in which Hamed Faris Qutami finished second with 39 points, while Paul Beaumont was placed third with the same number of points on countback.
The prizes were presented by John Potts, regional director of Hertel for the Middle East and Caspian.
