Jake Core narrowly won category one of the Euro Motors BMW Monthly Medal at the Royal Golf Club with a net score of 72. Ray Bruhn and Barry Hobday finished second and third respectively using the countback system with both netting 73.
Category two - for golfers with handicaps of 16-28 (36 for ladies), was less closely contested with Waleed Al Alawi shooting a brilliant net 66 to beat Danielle Sheppard on net 69. Don Warren finished in the prizes for the second week running in third place with a net score of 70.
Over 90 players competed in the event played on the Royal Golf Club's Montgomerie championship course. The next round of the series will be held on May 6.
